EAI’s conferences season has officially begun! We would like to introduce you the upcoming 7th International Conference on Intelligent Technologies for Interactive Entertainment to be held in Torino, Italy on June 10-12. Participants will have the valuable opportunity to share their knowledge and multidisciplinary expertise concerning ‘Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) for Entertainment’ and discuss the latest within the field with relevant HCI experts.

Moreover, always keeping the focus on papers and ICT research, we proposed a study about channel selection strategies for secondary users under perfect monitoring and imperfect monitoring scenarios for homogenous channel occupancy as well as a paper about new solutions for assisting epilepsy diagnosis outside of the hospital, presented respectively at the 2014’s editions of Crowncom and MobiHealth.

The role of visual computing and content sharing was discussed with Prof. Honggang Wang, General Chair of the upcoming 8th International Conference on Mobile Multimedia Communications (MOBIMEDIA 2015). As confirmed by Prof. Wang the conference will address issues related to multimedia contents distribution, in order to meet the required users’ Quality of Experience.
