The 5th EAI International Conference on Wireless Mobile Communication and Healthcare – “Transforming healthcare through innovations in mobile and wireless technologies” will be held in London, Great Britain on 14-16 October, 2015.
The scientific program for MobiHealth 2015 has been compiled to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving disciplines of wireless communications, mobile computing and sensing technologies in healthcare. It is a top priority of MobiHealth conference is to strengthen the synergy between researchers and experts from academia, healthcare organizations, research institutions and industry.
Dr. Konstantina S. Nikita (National Technical University of Athens, Greece) and Prof. Yang Hao (Queen Mary University of London, UK) will chair the event, whereas Prof. Steffen Leonhardt, Chair for Medical Information Technology (Helmholtz Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Aachen) will be presenting the keynote talk entitled: ‘The car as a location for medical diagnosis’ and Dr. Adam Hill, Chief Medical Officer of McLaren Applied Technologies, will present the talk “Optimising the interaction between man and machine: lessons from Formula 1”.
The conference will also present three special sessions: Hilbert Paradox, a unique way of worldwide capturing and correlating digital health data, Smart Phone based Health Diagnostics and Monitoring (SP-Health) and Safer Medical Device Design and Human Error (CHI+MED).

The conference will also host two workshops: the “Internet-of-Things for Healthcare: Smart Architectures, Applications, and Microsystems” workshop and the International Workshop on “Advances in Personalized Healthcare Services, Wearable Mobile Monitoring, and Social Media Pervasive Technologies”.
