Deadline extension for Stemcom 2016!

Stemcom 2016, the 1st International Conference on Systems and Technology for Energy Management in Communication Networks, will take place in Guildford, Great Britain on March 21-24, 2016.

The conference will be an international forum on theory, design, analysis and implementation related to Energy Efficiency and Energy Management in 5G Communications Systems. Participants will present emerging applications, services and engineering frameworks to further innovate the concept of Energy Efficiency in emerging complex communication systems; discover the new potential of technology and tools and further facilitate the Energy Efficiency practices for 5G Communication Networks and beyond.

Stemcom 2016 welcomes contributions with a focus on these 4 pillars of interest:

  • Energy Management in emerging communication systems;
  • Energy Management tools and techniques in communication systems;
  • Energy Management practices in communication systems;
  • Emerging and Selected areas for energy management in communication systems.

The conference will also include the first Workshop on Emerging Massive MIMO & Millimeter Wave Technologies for Cooperative and Cognitive 5G/B5G Networks (mmWave 5G), in which participants will have the possibility to explore intersections and interfaces of Massive MIMO and mmWave for cooperative and cognitive wireless networks and related various technologies under the umbrella of 5G networks.

Accepted papers will be published in Springer’s LNICST series and will appear in the SpringerLink, one of the largest digital libraries online that covers a variety of scientific disciplines, as well as in the ICST’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL). Selected papers will be invited for publication in the EAI Endorsed Transactions on Ambient Systems, Mobile Communications and Applications, Ubiquitous Environments.
