New deadline extension for AfricaTek 2017

AfricaTek 2017, the 1st EAI International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Developing Countries, will take place in Marrakech, Morocco on March 27-29, 2017.

The conference AFRICATEK 2017 targets the use of emerging technologies (e.g. cloud computing, IoT, data analytics, green computing, etc.) in developing countries. Building innovative solutions and services based on cutting edge technologies is very challenging in developing countries for several reasons. The limited IT infrastructure and Internet penetration are two of the key hindering barriers.

The goal of the Conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to share their results and ideas on how to benefit the developing world from the technologies’ advances despite the existing limitations. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

Deadline for call for papers to ACRID 2017 is extended

ACRID 2017 EAI International Conference for Research, Innovation, and Development for Africa will take place in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe on  20-21 June 2017.

SGIoT 2017 is waiting for participants

SGIoT 2017, the 1st EAI International Conference on Smart Grid Assisted Internet of Things, will take place in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada on 11-13 July 2017.

The 11th EAI International Conference on Pervasive Computing Technologies for Healthcare (PervasiveHealth 2017), will take place on 23-26 May, 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.

Pervasive Health Conference is a premier international forum with specific focus on technologies and human factors related to the use of ubiquitous computing in healthcare and for wellbeing. The overall goal of the Pervasive Health Conference is to take a multidisciplinary approach to Pervasive Healthcare Technology research and development.

Call for papers: BICT 2017

BICT 2017 – 10th EAI International Conference on Bio-inspired Information and Communications Technologies (formerly BIONETICS) will take place in Hoboken, New Jersey, United States on 15-17 March,  2017.

This Conference aims to provide a world-leading and multidisciplinary venue for researchers and practitioners in diverse disciplines that seek the understanding of key principles, processes and mechanisms in biological systems and leverage those understandings to develop novel information and communications technologies (ICT). BICT 2017 targets two thrusts:

 THRUST 1: Indirect Bioinspiration (ICT designed after biological principles, processes and mechanisms). Examples include evolutionary computation, artificial gene regulatory networks, neural networks/computation, swarm intelligence, cellular automata, artificial immune systems, amorphous computing, artificial life, artificial chemistry, reaction-diffusion computing, self-organization, chaotic systems, social networks, game theory, computational epidemics, agent-based modeling, and nature-inspired models and calculi.

THRUST 2: Direct Bioinspiration (ICT utilizing biological materials and systems). Examples include biosensing, molecular assembly, cellular computing, molecular computing/communication, membrane computing, bacterial computing/communication, DNA computing and memory, Physarum computing, quantum computing, biometric security/authentication, brain-computer interfaces and energy harvesting from biological sources.
