ICT4DA 2017 has been postponed!

We would like to inform authors of ICT4DA 2017, 1st EAI International Conference on ICT for Development for Africa, that due to the state of emergency in Ethiopia the conference will be posponed to September 25-27, 2017. The Conference will take place in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.

ICT4DA 2017 will bring together technology experts, researchers, industry and international authorities contributing towards the development of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the fields of socioeconomic development, international development, and human rights.

Topics of interest to the conference are divided into 5 main areas:

  1. E-Services
  2. Natural Language Processing
  3. Intelligent Systems
  4. Mobile and Wireless Communication
  5. Privacy and Security

We are pleased to introduce the first ICT4DA keynote speaker Lou Boves.

All accepted papers will be published by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world’s largest scientific libraries. Proceedings are submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: EI, ISI Thomson’s Scientific and Technical Proceedings at Web of Science, Scopus, CrossRef, Google Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL).”

Accepted Authors will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to Special Issue in EAI Endorsed Transactions on Pervasive Health and Technology.

Deadline for call for papers to ACRID 2017 is extended

ACRID 2017 EAI International Conference for Research, Innovation, and Development for Africa will take place in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe on  20-21 June 2017.

The conference seeks to bring together academics, researchers, and industrialists across many disciplines, in particular, those that have the most impact in Africa’s Development.  Most events on the continent have covered limited subjects, and therefore the opportunity has been lost sharing information, results, and knowledge in a way which can solve the many contentious issues, most of which can be addressed through a multidisciplinary approach.

The Conference welcomes papers from areas of Electronics, Communications and Computer Systems, Energy and Power Systems, Multi-discipline approach to the solution of problems and application of innovation in industrial production, mining, transportation, Engineering Education and participation of youth and women in Engineering and Technology.
