ICTCC 2017, the 3rd EAI International Conference on Nature of Computation and Communication, will take place in Tam Ky, Vietnam on November 23-24, 2017.

ICTCC Conference is a place for highly original ideas about how nature is going to shape computing systems of the future. Its purpose is to make a formal basis more accessible to researchers, scientists, professionals, and students as well as developers and practitioners in ICT by providing them with state-of-the-art research results, applications, opportunities and future trends.

The following individual track will be held in conjunction with the main conference:
► Modeling of Contextual Systems (ICTCC-MCS’17) chaired by
– Prof. Hiep Xuan Huynh, Cantho University (CTU), Vietnam
– Prof. Bernard Pottier, Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO), France

All accepted papers will be submitted for publication in Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world’s largest scientific libraries. Proceedings are submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: DBLP, Google Scholar, Thomson Scientific ISI Proceedings, EI Elsevier Engineering Index, CrossRef, Scopus, as well as ICST’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL). Selected papers, particularly those nominated for the Best Paper competition, will be automatically considered for publication will be invited to publish in the EAI Endorsed Transactions on Context-aware Systems and Applications.

10th issue for EAI Endorsed Transaction on Context-aware Systems and Applications is out!

The EAI Endorsed Transactions on Context-aware Systems and Applications provide a common forum to publish high quality papers, and to offer readers a single source to get inspiring ideas and important findings in this area. It is our pleasure to present the tenth issue of dedicated transactions on Context-aware Systems and Applications.
This journal is a place for highly original ideas about how CA is going to shape computing and communication of the future. Hence, it focuses on rigorous approaches and cutting-edge solutions which break new ground in dealing with the properties of CA. Its purpose is to make a formal basis more accessible to researchers, scientists, professionals and students as well as developers and practitioners in computer science by providing them with state-of-the-art research results and future opportunities and trends.

All papers, but particularly those nominated for the Best Paper competition, will be automatically considered for publication in an expanded form in the special issues of ELSEVIER Future Generation Computer Systems (FGCS) Journal (indexed in SCIE), Springer Mobile Networks and Applications (MONET) (scie-INDEXED) journal (indexed in SCIE) and EAI Endorsed Transactions on Context-Aware Systems and Applications.

The Sixth Transactions on Context-Aware Systems and Applications is online

The EAI Endorsed Transactions on Context-Aware Systems and Applications inspects all aspects of Context Awareness in both computing and communication. Its scope is to be a useful platform for all researchers in the field, providing a picture of its state-of-the-art through selected papers.

The Sixth issue of the magazine is available on EUDL, and includes studies such as Mobility Patterns Mining Algorithms with Fast Speed and Some Improvements on Active Queue Management Mechanism Based on Adaptive Fuzzy Control.

Context-Aware Systems and Applications: ICCASA 2015

Few weeks left to ICCASA 2015, the Fourth EAI International Conference on Context-Aware Systems and Applications, taking place on November 26-27 in Vung Tau, Vietnam.

The event will focus on how context-awareness is going to shape networked computing systems of the future. Rigorous approaches and cutting-edge solutions will be taken in consideration in order to foster discussion and cooperation between all the stakeholders involved in the ICT research and industry.

Phan Cong Vinh, from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, and Nguyen Thi Chim Lang, from Ba Ria-Vung Tau University, will chair the fourth edition of the conference at the Imperial Hotel Vung Tau, in Vung Tau City.

Three special tracks will take place jointly with the main event:

  • Computational Aspects of Context in Natural Language Processing (CACNLP 2015)

ICCASA 2015: new deadline extension!

The 4th EAI International Conference on Context-Aware Systems and Applications (ICCASA 2015) will take place on 26-27 November, 2015 in Vung Tau, Vietnam.

ICCASA 2015 is a place for highly original ideas about how context-awareness is going to shape networked computing systems of the future. Hence, it focuses on rigorous approaches and cutting-edge solutions which break new ground in dealing with the properties of context-awareness. Its purpose is to make a formal basis more accessible to researchers, scientists, professionals and students as well as developers and practitioners in ICT by providing them with state-of-the-art research results, applications, opportunities and future trends.

Keynite speaker of the conference will be Prof. Vangalur Alagar (Concordia University, Canada) who will give the talk “Autonomic Urban Traffic Controller System – A Cyber-physical Systems Approach”.

Original papers are solicited for the ICCASA 2015. In particular, theoretical contributions should be formally stated and justified, and practical applications should be based on their firm formal basis. Suggested topics include:

Context-aware Systems:
– Routing, transport, and reliability issues of context-aware systems;
– Techniques for data dissemination and replication in context-aware systems;
