DLI 2016: Call for Workshops!

DLI 2016, the 1st EAI International Conference on Design, Learning & Innovation will take place in Esbjerg, Denmark on May 2-4, 2016.

A main objective of the workshops and panels/symposiums is to foster discussions and exchanges between different stakeholder groups and to encourage collaboration between the different research and practice fields related to design, learning, and innovation contributing to the creation, shaping, and incubation of playful learning designs, tools, technologies, experiences, processes and outcomes.

Presentations delivered during the workshops are based on papers that have been selected through peer- review process. Accepted workshop papers are included in the Conference Proceedings. Best workshop paper publications may be included in various Transactions or other journals.

Workshops Proposal Deadline: 6th January, 2016

Full Paper Submission Deadline: 6th January, 2016

Notification Deadline: 15th January, 2016

Camera-ready deadline: 5th February, 2016

Submit you paper to DLI 2016!

DLI 2016, the 1st EAI International Conference on Design, Learning & Innovation, will take place in Esbjerg, Denmark on May 2-4, 2016.

Challenges in the fields of design, learning, and innovation are often approached by trans-disciplinary teams and solutions. Academics, designers, researchers, and practitioners with a background the fields of design, learning, and innovation towards creating, shaping, incubating playful learning designs, tools, technologies, experiences, processes, and outcomes will all participate in DLI 2016.

The conference invites contributors to submit papers, posters, workshops, and panel/symposium proposals on the following topics:

– Digital Games and Toys;

– Playful Designs;

– Theoretical frameworks;

– Innovation in design and learning;

– Design, learning and Innovation for specific purposes;

– New trends in formal and informal learning practices;

– Emerging tools and technologies in design, learning and innovation.

EAI publishes Proceedings of all its events with Springer LNICST; Proceedings are also included in EUDL (EAI open access digital library). Additionally, selected papers will be considered to be included in one of EAI Transactions. If you are planning a special issue in a journal, please specify the proposed title and the journal: ArtsIT, Interactivity, and Game Creation Special Issue International Journal Arts and Technology. Selected works will also appear in the International Journal of Arts and Technology (Inderscience) or the other journals mentioned at the site.
