The Third Conference on Auctions, Market Mechanisms and Their Applications (AMMA 2015) is to take place in Chicago, USA on August 8-9, 2015.
Which is the aim of AMMA 2015? The Conference will focus on the economic, algorithmic, technical, and practical issues that arise in developing and deploying market mechanisms. This edition will also illuminate its participants on theoretical and empirical examination of questions like: ‘Is (real) money necessary?’, or ‘Is there a need for new mechanisms for specific applications?’.
In addition AMMA 2015 is especially interested in papers presenting experiences from the real world (case studies and new applications). For this reason the Conference invites researchers to submit papers in all areas of market design, such as: content delivery networks, markets and incentives in crowdsourcing, entrepreneurial market design and financial market design.
Furthermore, AMMA 2015 will host some of the most distinguished experts in the field such as: Eric Budish (University of Chicago Booth School of Business), David Parkes (Harvard University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences) and Canice Prendergast (University of Chicago Booth School of Business).
The conference venues are: the University of Chicago’s Becker Friedman Institute and Booth School of Business.
