The second edition of the International Summit on the Internet of Things – IOT360° Summit will take place from October from 27th to 29th of October in the marvelous frame of the Italian capital. Rome will host the second edition of the Summit that will bring major IoT experts from all over the world to discuss innovative IoT-related projects and activities.
More than 100 participants, over 40 international speakers such as Mischa Dohler, Francesco Profumo, 20+ world-wide partners will address together new challenges for the future of The Internet of Things, increasing the world-wide competitiveness through Innovation.
The program of the Summit will be plenty of insights, ideas, analysis and solutions to match the 360° perspective within the field of the IoT, through three featured tracks: Community, Innovation and Technology. Participants will have the opportunity to meet speakers, colleagues, world-wide partners and to build together new challenges, network and develop solutions during the interactive community session, downloading the IoT360 mobile app. Furthermore attendees will take part in discussions started by IoT industry veterans such as Benjamin Mandler (IBM), about the field forecasts, to analyze together trends and upcoming developments of the future scenarios. Students are also strongly encouraged to participate in the discussions about IP protection, funding and policies, participating in the Innovation Day section.
Eleven co-located conferences on various IoT topics will take place simultaneously to highlight different aspects of the future of the Internet of Things from a multidisciplinary point of view. Furthermore, the ‘IoT360 Summer School’, will allow participants to take the chance to ‘pitch and sell’ their projects developed during the IoT Hackathon, while the leading global startup accelerator program ’Startupbootcamp Internet of Things & Data’, will allow mentors and experts to give their honest feedback to the 10 chosen start ups. IOT360° promises to be an international chance to enlarge network, give and receive hints and feedback about projects, promote new ideas and start ups as well as discuss regulations and policies.
The summit is organized under the patronage of the European Commission Representation in Italy with the cooperation of partners such as CREATE-NET, IBM, LA SAPIENZA, THE IOT COUNCIL and many more.
