Weekly recap

EAI continues to bridge research and innovation both online and offline. We believe that bringing academics and professionals together is the way forward, and continue to foster cooperation between these groups through our events. Our blog provides you with the latest information from the world of EAI to allow you to keep pace with the ICT revolution.

We interviewed an academic and a lawyer this week, to bring you the best of both worlds. Dr. Liljana Gavrilovska introduced the first edition of Fabulous, an international conference on future access enablers and ubiquitous and intelligent infrastructures, of which she is the General Chair, and convinced us that it will, indeed, be fabulous. Ernesto Belisario, who combines his passions for computer science and law and works as an ICT lawyer, shared his view on legal and governmental issues in relation to the Internet of Things.

Yet another section of one of our best ICT innovators has been launched on our blog. Make sure to read Dr. Min Song’s great contribution on incentivized spectrum co-access in his new Radio Spectrum section, this time co-written by Dr. Chun Sheng Xin. Both are experts on the subject, and we are proud to host their article.

Under Papers, you shall find articles that cover research papers that present new mobile crowdsensing and localization system solutions, featured, respectively, at the latest editions of CollaborateCom and CROWNCOM.

Last but not least, we presented INNOVER-EAST, an exciting EU project EAI is involved in, which aims at developing new skills and competences in innovation services at relevant organizations in the Eastern Partnership countries.

Join our community of ICT experts and be part of the innovation!
