Less than a month until WiSATS 2015! The 7th International Conference on Wireless and Satellite Systems (formerly PSATS) will take place in Bradford, Great Britain on July 6–7, 2015.
Why to attend the conference? WiSATS 2015 will explore techniques such as the synergy between satellite and terrestrial wireless networks, and aims to serve as a premier international forum for discussions, bringing together academic and industrial researchers, practitioners, and students interested in future techniques relating to the wireless and satellite communications, networking, technology, systems, and applications.
Who should attend the conference? WiSATS 2015 is a must event for those interested in Antenna designs, modulation and coding, Synchronization, equalization and channel estimation, Channel modelling for wireless or satellite communications, Wireless or Satellite-based Emergency service assistance and disaster recovery, Geographic information systems, just to mention some of the main point of the conference.
That’s not all! WiSATS 2015 will also host two workshops: the International Workshop on Communication Applications in Smart Grid (CASG 2015) and the Workshop on Advanced Next Generation Broadband Satellite Systems (BSS). Furthermore, also a Special Session on Network Coding for Satellite Systems (NCSATS 2015) and a panel session on Future Maritime VHF Digital Exchange System (VDES) – a combined terrestrial and satellite communications system will be running in WiSATS 2015.
Accepted papers will be published in Springer’s LNICST series and will appear in the SpringerLink, one of the largest digital libraries online that covers a variety of scientific disciplines. Authors of the best papers will be recommended to submit an extended version to the ICST Transactions or EAI magazines.
