The Fifth EAI Transactions on Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems

The EAI Endorsed Transactions on Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems focus on the publication of the latest research and developments in the broader areas of industrial networks and intelligent systems.

The fast development of communication technologies has emerged as applicable in various industries, entailing a reduction of costs and an increase in reliability. However, the industrial environment features extreme physical conditions as well as the globalized economic environment is equally dynamic and harsh, which poses extra constraints to management and planning. Such constraints call for the criticality of the design, analysis and implementation of intelligent systems and networks to satisfy the requirements of various stakeholders with an interdisciplinary approach.

The Fifth issue of the journal has just been published on the EUDL digital library, with contributions such as ‘How to Make Business Processes “Socialize”?’ and ‘A Review of Research on Acoustic Detection of Heat Exchanger Tube’.

If your research meets the scopes of the journal, be sure to submit it.

The fifth issue of the EAI Endorsed Transactions on Scalable Information Systems is out!

As the data volumes continue to increase and the ways of information dispersion across the globe continue to diversify, new scalable methods and structures are needed for efficiently processing those distributed and autonomous data. Grid computing, P2P technology, distributed information retrieval technology, and networking technology all must be merged to address the scalability concern, which is the core of the EAI Endorsed Transactions on Scalable Information Systems.

Check out the specific topics covered by the fifth issue of the journal out now!

The journal welcomes contributions that deal within these scopes. Make sure to submit your research.

The third issue of EAI Transactions on Creative Technologies is out now!

Given the accelerated changes and deeply interconnected activities of the times we are living in, creativity is a key factor of disruptive future developments. The EAI Transactions on Creative Technologies provides a venue for publishing the latest research and developments about creative and entertainment industries, which nowadays represent more than 3% of the GDP in Europe and they range from creative content providers (TV & radio, fashion, music). Creative services, contents and experiences present knowledge requirements that are defined increasingly beyond a single discipline and appear to lie in a sound engagement among the creative practitioner (artist/designer/composer/entertainer), the engineer and the scientist. Digital arts, creative industries, and (tele)communication + (social) signal processing speak the language of convergence rather than autonomy. Their interaction calls for special attention now more than ever.

The third issue of the journal is now available and it proposes contributions such as: ‘Social retrieval of music content in multi-user performance’ and ‘Characterization of gestural units in light of human-avatar interaction’.

The journal welcomes contributions that deal within its scopes. Make sure to submit your research.
